FOOTBALL TEAM & LEAGUE RULES

The League

Alliance Hawks local teams participate within the Great Plains Youth Football League (GPYFL).  This league gives teams the ability to attend tournaments outside of the league, participate with regional and national travel teams, and compete with other Nebraska and Iowa teams.

Regular Season Play

Games typically begin in late-August and the season goes through October. 

  •  Teams will play 8 games including post season games.

  • Practice times & locations are set by coaches.

Pre-and Post Season Play

Teams may participate in pre and post-season tournament play.

Forms Needed For Play 

Prior to attending a players first practice, the following forms will be required: 

  • A copy of your athletes birth certificate. 

  • A signed athletic waiver/release. 

  • A signed equipment responsibility form. 

  • If your athlete is utilizing their own helmet, a signed helmet/safety waiver/certification. 

  • An up to date sports physical. Please ensure the physical is dated after 2/1/2024. You may use a sports physical provided by your providers office, of you may take the attached sports physical to your provider if needed: AST PHYSICAL FORM 2024-2025

Division & Grade Guidelines

Players of all abilities can learn and play tackle football.  We believe in maximizing the level of competition a player experiences, as well as developing their talent with respect to their current skills and abilities.

This is why Alliance offers different teams, with respect to a players grade and skill level. We understand many players have little to no experience playing tackle football, while others have several of years of experience under their belt. This is why we offer various team choices that focus on a players specific experience and skill level. Placing players on the appropriate team allows them to maximize their growth as a football player and obtain the maximum amount of game time experience possible.

Alliance offers teams for players between 3rd through 8th grade. A players grade is determined by the current school year. Parent’s can elect to have their players play one level up. Alliance teams are comprised of teams that play locally, as well as nationally with respect to Alliance “travel” teams. Football Refund Policy 

A request for refund must be completed for each request and submitted to alliancesportstraining.com for review. Please email your request to the above listed email, including your name, your players name, and reason for requesting a refund. Full, partial, or no refund may be awarded based on the following conditions as outlined below:

Full Refund 100% (Minus applicable fees as listed below): 

  • If the request for a refund is received within 72 hours of the registration date and prior to the early registration deadline of 3/1/24, then a full refund will be permitted, minus a processing fee of $25. 

​

Partial Refund (Minus applicable fees as listed below): 

  • If the request for a refund is received after 3/1/24, and prior to 7/1/24, then a partial refund will be permitted. The partial refund amount will be one half the price of registration, or $125.  The partial refund amount includes the associated program fees, processing fees and any uniform fees. 

  • If the request for a refund is received after 3/1/24, and prior to 7/1/24, then a partial refund will be permitted for clients using alternative payment methods as outlined here: If payment is paid via an alternative payment method, to include; PayPal Pay Later methods (PayPayl Pay in 4, PayPal Pay Monthly) or the Alliance Payment Plan, partial refunds will be provided in the amount of 50% of the total payment received.

No Refund Provided

  • No refund will be provided on or after 7/1/2024. In the case of a Medical Refund Request: All Medical Refund Requests will be reviewed and determined on a case-by-case basis.

Any refund request approved will be processed and if approved, awarded within 30 days of approval. 

Cheer Refund Policy 

A request for refund must be completed for each request and submitted to alliancesportstraining.com for review. Please email your request to the above listed email, including your name, your players name, and reason for requesting a refund. Full, partial, or no refund may be awarded based on the following conditions as outlined below:

  • If the request for a refund is received within 72 hours of the registration date and prior to, or on the date of, the registration deadline of 5/10/24, then a full refund will be permitted, minus a processing fee of $25.

Partial Refund (Minus applicable fees as listed below): ​

  • If the request for a refund is received on the date of 5/11/24, or after the date of 5/11/24, and prior to, or on the date of, 8/4/24, then a partial refund will be permitted. The partial refund amount will be one half the price of registration, or $200.  The partial refund amount includes the associated program fees, processing fees and any uniform fees. 

  • If the request for a refund is received on the date of 5/11/24, or after the date of 5/11/24, and prior to, or on the date of, 8/4/24, then a partial refund will be permitted for clients using the Alliance Cheer Payment Plan , then a partial refund will be provided in the amount of 50% of the total payment received.

No Refund Provided

  • No refund will be provided on or after 8/5/24. In the case of a Medical Refund Request: All Medical Refund Requests will be reviewed and determined on a case-by-case basis.

​

Any refund request approved will be processed and if approved, awarded within 30 days of approval. The amount approved will be determined by Alliance Sports Training.
